Treatment Philosophy

My Approach

I treat fertility patients with a combination of Traditional Oriental Medicine, relaxation techniques, guided imagery and a blend of Eastern and Western nutritional recommendations to enhance reproductive function and overall good health. I believe acupuncture treatments by a highly trained specialist, used as an adjunct to state of the art biomedical fertility care can provide reinforcement to realizing a full term pregnancy. Since starting my practice in 2003, I have consistently averaged between a 60% – 70% successful Clinical Pregnancy rate for IVF patients who combined acupuncture with their IVF treatment cycle. For IUI cycles I have a 33% success rate. Acupuncture is a perfect complement to Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) which includes Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) and In-vitro Fertilization (IVF). I work with patients from most of the biggest fertility centers in Southern New Jersey and I perform “before” and “after” acupuncture treatments on-site on the day of embryo transfer 7 days a week, 355 days per year in the Southern New Jersey area fertility clinics.

While the primary focus of my practice is fertility and other women’s health conditions, I also treat other physical and mental health issues including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic and acute ankle, knee, wrist, elbow, low back and neck pain from injuries or overuse, as well as Migraine headaches, IBS and addiction.
